Hey ladies, In this episode of the Ministers in the Marketplace podcast, I share an update about taking a content break. As ministers in the marketplace, it's essential to intentionally pause and allow God to pour into us.
I discuss the importance of balancing content creation with spiritual nourishment and how overloading ourselves with the pressure to produce can lead to missing out on God's guidance. This break is a time to rest in His presence, spend time in His word, and seek direction for the future of the podcast.
We explore biblical examples of solitude and how taking time away can lead to greater clarity and alignment with God's will. Despite the fear of losing engagement and metrics, trusting God during this period of rest is vital.
This episode encourages you to embrace seasons of solitude and rest, trusting that God will maintain your platform and lead you to new opportunities. It's not about fame or popularity, but about fulfilling God's purpose in your ministry.
Join me in understanding the importance of taking breaks and being obedient to God's call, even when it means stepping away from what we've built. I hope this message blesses you, and I look forward to returning with renewed vision and purpose.

*DISCLAIMER*
Using your gifts outside of the context of serving others is not what this episode is about. Using your spiritual gifts to elicit money from people is against the word of God. But using your gifts along with your natural talents and abilities is what this episode is about. I’m not advising anyone to go against the principles of the bible, just emphasising on the idea that our gifts can be used to serve a group of people as a paid service within reason. Please note and paid content you create should bring glory to God, anything outside of that is not.
Ministry Membership Tips: Offer your audience an opportunity to sow into your ministry.
Think about the different ways you can fund your Ministry through subscription-based membership. Whether that is through a platform like podcasting (Podbean), YouTube or blogging. Creating exclusive content and share it with a group of people who will benefit from it, is a great way to earn an income. Note to self: Not everyone is going to value what you have to offer (Matthew 7:6), but the people you’re called to serve will. What you charge is between you and God!

In this episode of our series on funding your ministry, we delve into the life of Apostle Paul and explore how he utilised a specific model to support himself and his ministry when external support was unavailable.
Paul's journey highlights the importance of divine ideas and wisdom in finding unique ways to fund your ministry work. He understood that while financial partnerships and gifts were ideal, there were times he needed to rely on his skills and trades, such as tent-making, to sustain his mission.
We discuss how Paul's example teaches us that there's no one-size-fits-all approach to funding ministry. God may provide various methods and models tailored to individual circumstances, including leveraging personal skills or projects to generate income.
This episode encourages ministers to consider their own talents and divine guidance to find innovative ways to support their ministry, just as Apostle Paul did. Tune in for insights and inspiration on navigating the financial challenges of ministry in the marketplace.
